Accessibility statement

Our commitment

ScaleIL is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We regard accessibility as part of doing the job properly, not as a formality.

Standard applied

This site has been built to meet Israeli Standard 5568 (תקן ישראלי 5568), which is based on the international guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) known as WCAG — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines — at level AA.

Compliance with this standard is required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 5773–2013.

What has been done

  • Semantic HTML with landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate by heading and region.
  • A “skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Full keyboard operation. The stack explorer on the home page supports arrow-key navigation, and every interactive element shows a clearly visible focus outline.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background throughout.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with visible, programmatically associated labels and clearly marked required fields.
  • Data tables with proper header cells and a caption.
  • Responsive layout that reflows to small screens and tolerates text enlargement to 200%.
  • Respect for the operating system’s “reduce motion” preference.
  • Correct language and direction declarations, including a full right-to-left Hebrew version.

Known limitations

Some partner logos are supplied by third parties as images and cannot be altered; text alternatives are provided for each. External sites we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
